As of 2015, there were just over 594,000 HNWIs in Latin America, representing roughly 3% of the world’s total. WealthInsight forecasts an increase of 9% in the region, which encompasses some serious opportunities.

Mexico will see a 14% increase in its HNWI community between now and 2020, a growth comparable to the UK and France over the same period.

While HNWIs grow in number, the wealth held by Latin American HNWIs continues to prosper as overseas investments become more commonplace and asset allocations more diverse.
